What can you expect?

Our Incubator package in details

Dedicated mentor

You will get a seasoned mentor who will be dedicated to you. However, you might also meet other members of our team.

Weekly meetings

You will work with your mentor on a weekly basis. This time is dedicated to you and your needs. Meetings are one-on-one.

A lot of challenges

Expect challenges - homeworks, open questions, brainstorming, live coding, role-plays, architecture designs…

Industry standard tools

You will work with industry-standard tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS, etc. Don't have experience with these? Good! That's why you're here.

Customized

Each student is unique, as is our mentoring. Your mentor will assess your skills and goals, and guide you along your very own path. We have no scripts; no two mentorings are the same.

24/7 access to your mentor

Okay, let's take this with a pinch of salt. Your mentor will be available via Slack, so you can ask questions anytime you want. You don't need to wait for your weekly session to unblock yourself. Expect answers at the best effort level.

Regular feedback

Feedback is one of the most valuable things you can receive to improve and grow. Expect regular feedback on your work so you know what you excel at and where you should improve.

Remote

Mentoring is done remotely. There might be some occasions where we meet in person to do hackathons or full-day intense challenges.

It is free

Our mentoring is completely free. Period. We understand how hard it can be to get good hands-on experience or find a mentor when you are a junior, so come get some!

How to apply?

Registration is open for any individual with the "Plectrum mindset" - anyone who is hungry for knowledge and is prepared to work hard to gain it. This program is dedicated to juniors with little to no experience in the DevOps field. The incubator is currently open only for people residing in the Europe region.

There's no catch. One of the values that our company is built upon is mentoring because we believe that knowledge should be shared. We just love educating enthusiastic people.

Definitely yes! This is exactly your opportunity to learn about such technologies. The program is dedicated to juniors so a lack of knowledge is expected.

If you are accepted into the mentoring program, you will receive mentorship for 6 months.

First of all, you need to be knowledge-hungry. We expect you to have some basic skills with computers, programming or scripting, and at least an overview of the DevOps industry. The rest is on us. See terms & conditions for more information.

No, it does not. You will gain the status of a student, but it has nothing to do with your employee status. This is an external educational program, so you keep your current job.

No! You don't. This is an external educational program that can actually help you in your current job.

As described, each mentorship is custom. It's up to you and your mentor to find time slots that suit both of you.

Yes, we limit the number of students in each batch as we strive for quality. Having too many students would result in superficial mentoring. We prefer to have fewer students with fully dedicated mentors.
